This may be irrelevant given this years shipping delays and how quickly the holidays are coming and going…but regardless, I wanted to drop a few gift ideas for her or perhaps yourself if you’re still thinking about what to put on your list (or treat yourself to!) this year.  When it comes to what I put in my list I focus on those pieces that I’ve been noodling over for a while or things that I know and love like my favorite lipstick or perfume.

These are a few things that I either have, love, and swear by, are currently on my list, or that I would love to receive!

Happy gifting!

Shearling Anything

I’ve been googly-eyed over all the shearling this year in it’s various forms (I have feelings for this Doen coat which has been sold out for weeks), but especially when it comes to coats and slippers. I know the price tag can be steep on real shearling, especially in the form of a coat, but if it’s something that she’ll wear for years to come then it’s a great investment. On the slipper front, I still love my quarantine slipper purchase, but these Jenni Kayne slippers keep popping up on my radar. They seem a little absurdly price for slippers, but I consistently hear great things about them.

A Chunky Oversized Knit

An area in my wardrobe that I’m always reaching for when the temperature drops and is rather under-supplied.  I recently picked up this one from Almina Concept and have been keeping my eye out for a good off-white turtleneck with cable knit details.  &Daughter makes wonderful chunky knits and I recently discovered Tricot which looks promising as well!

A “Refined” Knit

The opposite end of the spectrum of the above, but equally essential.  A thin merino wool sweater is equally functional and durable as is luxurious and chic.  They’re great for layering or wearing on their own with some minimal gold jewels.

Beauty & Skincare I Love

I usually always have something skincare or beauty related on my list.  Most often something I love and know that I will use or something I’ve been itching to try out.  I put a ton of options here!

Everyday Clutch

I basically live out of my tote most days and realized that a lot of the time I don’t need that much room and would much prefer to have something that I can grab and go with and even throw in said tote if need be.  This is something that I would invest in in a neutral color that will go with everything.  I’ve been saving up for this bad boy in black (which also makes a great evening clutch) and have been eyeing this one from Mansur Gavriel for over a year.

Timeless Jewelry

Need I say more?  You all know my love for KINN Studio pieces.  I also like to peruse Mejuri and Au Rate’s (where the necklace that I wear everyday is from!) collection of 14K gold pieces.

Robe

I’ve literally had decision paralysis on which kind to get (and color, but that’s a whole other topic).  I love a good plushy robe, especially in the winter, but am also really into Parachute’s Cloud Robe – it looks and sounds heavenly.

Favorite Scents

When in doubt, go with her favorite fragrance or a luxurious candle – they never disappoint!  I recently fell in love with Le Labo’s newer fragrance Thé Matcha (I know…how fitting) and am a big fan of Nette and La Botica candles.

Coffee Table Books

I’ve ben getting more and more into photography as of late and as such have this book on my list.  This is a great gift idea where you can cater to her interests and hobbies!

Objects For The Home

Now that I’m working off a clean slate in our condo, this is an area where I’ve gotten to dabble a bit more.  When we moved to the condo I treated myself to this vase and fully understand why people invest in beautiful home objects.  I put the smaller one on my wishlist this year!  If she (or he) particular loves to re-work her space or is into interior design something for the home is a great gift to give.

xx
