Beauty, skincare and wellness have definitely been on the main stage for me as of late.  Especially after last year during which I dove head first into my amping up my skincare routine and simplifying in between deciding which pair of stretchy pants to wear and what to watch on Netflix.  Below are the favorites of the faves. The products and pieces that are so good that I would buy for a friend of a loved one.

Also, as a side note, if you’ve been eyeing skincare to try, the holidays are the perfect time to do so.  There are always deals to be had!

The It List

As of now, there are two face oils that rotate between – Furtuna and True Botanicals.  Both work wonders for my skin.  If anything I feel like Furtuna’s is a lighter weight and True Botanicals a tad heavier making it great for cooler dryer months.  Full disclosure I haven’t tried Vintner’s Daughter yet, but everyone I know who has has raved about it.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I’ve gotten into oil cleansing.  Can’t say enough good things about Living Libations Best Skin Ever.   Literally has changed my skin.

Two serums that have my heart at the moment – Furtuna’s and Dueix Trinity Serum.  Game-changers for fine lines.

Living Libations Rose Glow Complexion Mist and Tata Harpers Hydrating Floral Essence (don’t let the name fool you it’s loaded with hyaluronic or extra plumping and hydration) are both *chefs kiss*.  Super hydrating and smell divine.

Seed to Skin Black Magic Mask – I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s like a facial in a jar.  Do it before you go to bed and follow with a juicy moisturizer or overnight mask like True Botanicals for some extra juicy skin love.

I’m so glad that I got to work with Kate McLeod earlier this year, because it introduced me to their glorious Face Stone and Body Stone.  If your skin runs dry and/or slightly irritated I cannot recommend these enough.  They’re also super low maintenance and don’t run the risk of exploding in your luggage.

Anything by Klur and Eadem’s Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum – I haven’t tried these products just yet, but I’ve been super curious about them. So much so that they deserve a shoutout on here.

On the hair front, a few products that are good for all types and have really helped my hairs texture: Crown Affair’s hair oil and Act + Acre’s hair mask, both are super lightweight and don’t leave my hair greasy. I also got this hair towel which helped so much with breakage. I had no idea how damaging regular towels can be on hair!

NuFace Trinity Toning Device – I know it’s everywhere, but that’s because it really does lift and sculpt.  A more economical option, and perhaps a more versatile one as it has many benefits and uses is a Gua Sha.  I use this one by Wildling and love it.

Peak and Valley Nourish My Brain – This and Sun Potions Yin Power are two of my favorite adaptogen blends.  I love to mix this in my morning matcha or hot chocolate in the winter.

A good dry brush.  I do this first thing in the morning (after tongue scraping) before I get in the shower to support my lymphatic system and promote good circulation.  I’ve been doing this for so long that I feel off if I don’t do it!

Moleskine Journal – Another practice that has become more regular for me as of late, journaling.  Sometimes the best wellness rituals are the simplest.

Woman Code and In The Flo by Alisa Vitti – Both of books that I would classify under health and wellness, especially for women, and are chock full of everything that I wish I learned when I was younger about the female body and how it works.

Equilibria 10mg CBD Daily Drops – I love to take this before bed to help me wind down and sleep better.

Last but not least, let’s chat makeup.  I’ve definitely simplified my daily makeup routine.  So much so that I have it down to 5 minutes.  Some of my all time favorites are:

MERIT The Minimalist – Perfect amount of coverage without suffocating your skin and a breeze to put on.

Ilia Super Serum – Light weight and hydrating with the perfect amount of coverage

REFY Brow Sculpt – For full fluffy brows. Literally the only thing that holds my brows in place.

MERIT Clean Mascara – The only clean mascara that I’ve tried and doesn’t fall out

Ilia Lip Slip – I love to use this at night, almost like a lip mask

Henne Lip Tint – I have this in Bare and have been using this for years!  It more or less feels like a tinted lip moisturizer and gives me just enough neutral pink for everyday wear.

And a few other goodies (and gift sets!) because I just can’t help myself.
