The Loafers That Are Perfect for Spring

You all know I love a good loafer (especially a less chunky one), and this spring I’ve got my eyes on off-white loafers. Well, tbh it’s off-white shoes in general, but for the sake of focusing my wandering fashion eye let’s focus on loafers. I’ve always loved the structure of a loafer. They’re both refined and relaxed and quickly elevate even the simplest of looks. Along with a more feminine flat, loafers are one of my favorite shoes for transitional seasons like spring and fall. Normally I would reach for something brown, but this year I’m loving the lighter neutrals that feel like a natural compliment to rising temps.

As I mentioned, I went down a bit of a white loafer rabbit hole today and I feel like I found some really solid options! I personally have these YSL ones. I tried them on and absolutely loved them, but couldn’t justify the price tag. But then I found a pair half off that had been worn once (!!) on Poshmark and felt like it was a sign that I was meant to own them. That being said, I don’t think you need to spend a ton for a great pair of loafers. These Banana Republic ones and this Flattered pair look so chic and these Everlane one look like they’d be incredibly comfortable (and are also reminiscent of Khaite’s Carlisle loafer from last year).

Happy spring! xx
