I’m not going to lie, I love picking up a few new pieces for upcoming travels. Usually I start perusing well in advance and do my best (emphasis on my best) to order in time to return things that don’t work out. For our trip to Cabo I was simply not firing on all cylinders and decided to forgo my pre-vacation retail treat, but if I didn’t these are some of the pieces I would have tried.
Linen halter vest – you know I love a good waistcoat and I love this take on it for Summer!
Dylan Rex crochet dress – I spotted this on Larissa Mills last year and have been thinking about it ever since. I love the mix of black and white and the pearl details at the wrist. I’m a littler nervous on quality and how well it would hold up as well as how that horizontal stripe would look on a big bust, but definitely want to try it out!
Posse shirt and pant set – absolutely love this paired with a white bathing suit! The color is a little outside of my comfort zone, and I’m worried how it would look on my fair skin, but it keeps catching my eye. Also love how they can be worn as separates and the top as a beach cover up.
All That Remains Alex Shirt – I came across this last year and absolutely fell in love with it! I just can’t decide on sizing…
Knit Diish dress – I have a think for knit dresses. They always look so effortless and chic and are just so easy to just throw on and go. I’m patiently waiting for this dress to come back in stock in moss, love this white knit version, as well as the halter version (although would require serious boob tape) for peak warm weather.
LouLou Studio open-knit midi skirt – it reminds me of the Leset coverup that I have just a bit heavier and 100% cotton. This would hit more like a maxi on my height and a midi on someone that’s 5’7″ or taller.
Yaitte button down – writing this post reminded me to add a Yaitte shirt to my wishlist because I’ve been wanting to try them for over a year. I also love this green colorway (I’ve been flirting with shades of olive, moss and jade lately). I don’t love that it’s synthetic, but it seems like it would be a good material for the beach.
Sheer white dress – I’ve been loving sheer moments lately. This SIR the label dress originally caught my eye, but this Diish one has also got my attention.
Crochet dress – as some of you may know I have been on for a crochet dress ever since I missed out on Reformation’s dress last year. This year I’m determined to snag a few pieces for warm weather activities. I’m still kicking myself for not buying this Significant Other dress when I saw it on Moda Operandi a few months ago because now it is sold out everywhere (if you’re above a size 6 please buy it and think of me). I’m also so in love with this LouLou Studio dress (this Diish dress is also very similar and more economical) – but know that it’s going to be sweeping the floor on me. If I knew I could hem it then I would already have it in hand, it’s perfect!
