FRIDAY15
A round up of noteworthy pieces – 15 to be exact, never any less, but sometimes more – pieces that have caught my eye or made it to my own wishlist that I think are worthy of investing in and that you can wear for years to come. One note, most everything will be linked in a ‘shop the post’ at the bottom of the page, but some more intimate finds from smaller brands are linked in the body of the post. xx
House of Dagmar Aviator Jacket – one of my favorite favorite brands (up there with Toteme and Khaite) for elevated classics with a bit of a twist. I’ve been laser focused on shorter transitional jackets and this one checks all the boxes. I also really love this &Other Stories one (and much prefer the price point). I ordered both to try hoping one will be a winner.
Stuart Weitzman Knot Sandals – a semi impulse purchase in NYC when my black heels broke that ended up being such a good purchase. So comfortable and incredibly versatile.
Shell Clutch – so perfect for spring and summer! I always love how Cult Gaia bags are always a bit more sculptural. They’re like little works of art.
Tekla Striped Pajama Pants – definitely want these or something like it for summer lounging or strolling around the city. To make them feel less like pjs I would pair it with a slim fit tank or if on vacation a bathing suit.
Kayla Denim Shirt – I’ve been wanting to upgrade my chambray shirts and denim shirts this season and this Citizen’s of Humanity one keeps catching my eye. Also drawn to this Sezane one and this darker WNU one. I want something that’s a little more oversized than what I have now.
Kind-of-Crochet Pants – knit pant alert! These remind me of the ones I wore all last year when I traveled. They are probably better suited for transitional weather, but I love the detail and composition!
Summer Arm Candy – I’ve been pretty impressed with what J.Crew has been putting out. Now I can’t speak to the quality, but this is such a cutie for summer.
Killer Block Heels – I tried these on Teller Shop and loved them! Shockingly more comfortable than I thought. I’m partial towards the brown, but you know I don’t discriminate towards any neutral.
Crochet Halter Dress – I am big into crochet. I was last year as well, but dragged my feet on finding a few pieces that I loved. I’m pretty picky about my crochet when it comes to both color and the design. This one’s a winner in my mind and an even bigger winner if it can be hemmed!
Crochet Kaftan Sweater – speaking of crochet! I love the black and white white contrast of the strips. Also comes in this color way. which I am gravitating towards more. Also note the matching crochet shorts! I could easily see these kaftans tossed over a bathing suit with white linen pants and brown accessories. *chefs kiss*
Ivy Knit Maxi Dress – recently got this and absolutely love. It’s so flattering and the way the skirt is tone (with a side panel) adds a nice little flare. Also a great for petites! I’m 5’4″ and it hits me just at the ankle.
Sheer Long Sleeve – also recently got this top for (mostly) date nights and drinks with the girls. Just need to find the right bra to wear underneath.
Gladiator Sandals – still flagged as coming soon so sign up for the notification. I love a good wrap sandal. I have my eye on the off-white version.
Little Black Beare Park Dress – you all know my love for Beare Park. I spotted this in the Teller Shop last weekend in LA and immediately fell in love. Firmly on my LBD wishlist.
Another sculptural strapless top – this might just have to be my next sculptural strapless work of art. I’ve been on the hunt for a black strapless! I could see this paired with a pencil skirt, denim, trousers – the options are endless.
