With summer in full swing and my social feeds filling up with photos and videos of everyone (myself included – sorrynotsorry) taking their hot girl vacation in Europe, I’ve got vacation, and everything I want to wear on it, on my mind. From crochet to traffic stopping greens and an endless supply of raffia and brown leather accessories I am here for it and am waisting no time in building a little wishlist.
I’ve always taken more of a 70/30 approach to summer and vacation dressing . Meaning, 70% of my focus when shopping is on pieces that I can wear during summer regardless of where I am and 30% of my focus is on pieces that I would probably only wear at a beach, by the pool or on a boat aka resort wear. I absolutely love resort wear, but the reality is that I don’t need a crochet swim cover up for every day of the week and I still find myself reaching for trusty neutrals, timeless linen, and classic silhouettes even in the summer.
