While everyone is dusting off their boots and sweaters, I’m squeezing out the last bits of Summer with two weeks in Italy.  I’m doing my best to not overpack, but given that I haven’t traveled internationally in over a year and have a closet full of warm weather clothes {a few others I purchased for the occasion because – Summer} screaming to be worn, there’s quiet little hope for me.

Regardless, these are some of pieces that will definitely be making the cut.

Monday Swimwear

It’s my life’s mission to find cute bikini’s that fit small bands/large cup sizes {30F over here} and so far, Monday Swimwear, is the only brand that fits the bill.

I’ve found the Formentera top to be the most flattering top and I absolutely love the fit of the Argentina bottom (I have both of these in the white crinkle which has since sold out, but colored options are just as good!) and the Riviera bottom (have in black).  I also have the Costa Rica top, but find that with a larger cup size I’m constantly tugging at it and adjusting it to avoid a “boob-crack” in the center ring.  It’s a great top for laying out though.

Summersalt Sidestroke

Such a good fit and so flattering. They have a wide range of sizes and also offer options for long torsos.  Will definitely be wearing this with a skirt for impromptu ocean dips.

Cult Gaia Cameron Knit Dress

A recent purchase and a bit outside of my usual repertoire, but so flattering and fun for vacation.  I went with a small and it fit my 36″ bust and 35″ hip just fine.

SIR Blanch Cut Out Dress

White linen and cut outs – what more can I say. (something similar here and on sale!)

Faithful The Brand Set

Love this top and bottom for city strolls or a casual dinner.  (alternatively, love the Desitha Top or Daliaila Top paired with the Ottavio Pant

St. Agni Knit Tank

Obsessed with all things St. Agni and this ones on sale!

Asceno Linen Shirt

Cannot recommend this shirt enough.  It’s definitely an investment, but so worth it both from a versatility and quality stand point.  Can wear it as a cover up, tucked in to pants or tied with jean shorts.  Also worth noting, they have a couple of styles of shirts. I prefer the Formentara because it is a bit longer in the back.

AMANU Style 10 Sandals

One of my favorite styles of theirs.  Easy to dress up or dress down.

Denim Shorts

Either my Mango or AGOLDE Riley cut-offs for beach and boat days

Reformation Linen Vesta Pants

Never go on a warm vacation without a tailored linen pant in a neutral color that I can easily pair with different tops and tanks, dress up or dress down.

Le Scarf No. 2 Silk Twill Scarf

Love this to mix up an otherwise simple outfit. As a head scarf, around the neck or on a bag.

Warby Parker Sonia Sunglasses

One of those people that need prescription sunglasses because contacts hate me.  Just got these and I love them!  They feel very Bottega-esque to me!

The Organic Pharmacy Sun Cream SPF 50

Invested in this because I wanted something that didn’t make me feel like I was wearing sunscreen at the beach.  I typically use this or Saie Sunvisor just on my face and décolletage and then use Babo on the rest of my body. (I’ve also been very curious about Pipette.)

Comme Si Boxers

Just as comfortable as bike shorts, but less athleisure and much more air flow. Will wear these as a cover up with an open linen shirt or for lounging during our down time. I also really liked these AYR shorts with the matching shirt, but they were sold out at the time {they’re back in stock now!}

Posse Alice Top

Another item to maximize air flow!  I don’t wear crop tops often, but I’ve had my eye on this one for a few seasons now.  Love to pair this with a high-waisted anything (skirt, pants, jeans, etc.) and it’s also bra-friendly (I’d recommend a balconette or strapless bra for this one).

H Is For Love Kaphar Cleansing Bar

I’m very particular with fragrance. As such, sometimes I don’t mind the body wash that a hotel has and sometimes I can’t stand it. I wanted to avoid bringing my own body was so instead, I opted for bar soap. This one has super simple ingredients and I’m finding that I love anything with bergamot in it.

What are your go to vacation essentials?

xx
